The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa 2018 – Casino Tour

The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa is just east of the center of the Strip, on Flamingo Road. Pull into the porte cochere three miles from McCarran International Airport, and a block off the Strip. The Westin Las Vegas debuted a new lounge and restaurant, and expanded meeting spaces in January. Check in to one of 826 rooms and suites with refreshed interiors. The lobby offers a lounge area. The 1,100- to 1,500-square-foot Presidential Suites offer a living and dining area separate from the bedroom. A motorized plasma television is hidden in the center cabinet. The dining area in a Presidential Suite seats eight. The Presidential Suite includes a wet bar with bottles of water, an ice bucket, glasses and more. The bar area offers seating for three and an open floor plan. A coffee maker and supplies are provided in the bar area in a Presidential Suite.

The Presidential Suite features a bedroom with a king bed or two doubles. A Presidential Suite bedroom boasts a king-size Heavenly® Bed. A chaise lounge by the window offers views from the top floor in Presidential Suite bedroom. The bedroom in a Presidential Suite includes a flatscreen TV.

Presidential Suite bedrooms offer iPod clock radios with outlets and USB ports. Colored bins make it easy to separate recyclables and waste in a Presidential Suite. The bathroom in a Presidential Suite offers a double vanity with three mirrors. The bathroom in a Presidential Suite features Westin’s Heavenly® Bath and a standing shower. The shower in a Presidential Suite features a rain shower head and a mobile nozzle. Custom toiletries are on hand in the shower.

Westin’s Heavenly towels are supplied. The bedroom of an Executive Suite hosts a king-size Heavenly® Bed and TV mounted on the room partition. The living area is shown opposite the bedroom in an Executive Suite.

An L-shaped sofa offers seating for three in the living area of an Executive Suite. Lavender balm oil is provided on a bedside table in an Executive Suite. The bathroom of an Executive Suite features a single vanity with a marble countertop.

The bathroom of an Executive Suite offers a dual bathtub and shower. The Executive Suite bathroom offers custom toiletries, towels and two water bottles a day. A blow dryer and Westin’s “Heavenly” towels are provided in the bathroom. An iron and ironing board are on hand in the bathroom closet of an Executive Suite. The bar area in an Executive Suite offers ice and coffee amenities, waters and information on RunWESTIN.

Guests in an Executive View Suite can see the High Roller observation wheel and Strip hotels from the top floor. An Executive Suite on the 17th floor offers southbound views of (from left) the Signature Suites at MGM Grand, MGM Grand and Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare tower. Westin’s 320-square-foot standard rooms feature a king bed, 42-inch TV, sofa and desk. A standard room hosts a work space and drawers, with Starbucks coffee stocked.

A standard room includes an L-shaped sofa and magazines. Reading lights are built into the headboard in a standard room. The bathroom in a standard room offers a wide single vanity with a broad mirror and marble countertop. The bathroom in a standard room hosts a bathtub and shower. The second floor overlooks Jake & Eli, a restaurant that has replaced the property’s casino.

Jake & Eli offers comfort food and a bourbon-focused bar. Jake & Eli offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a bar menu, snacks, and meat and three options. The Westin hosts a lounge area between Jake & Eli restaurant and the lobby bar. The lobby bar features tablets and a slew of TVs.

Cook Jordan Scott mans an omelet station in the breakfast buffet. The Westin’s outdoor pool is heated and open daily, seasonally. The pool area offers a sun deck, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Private cabanas are available on the pool deck.

The pool cabanas offer lounge chairs, towels, a TV and a fan. Food and beverage service is available to guests relaxing in the pool area. The pool offers views of the High Roller observation wheel. There are covered areas to relax around the pool. The 24-hour fitness center features Lifestyle Fitness machines with TVs built in. Dan Harland of London stretches before a workout in the fitness center.

Hibiscus Spa and Salon hosts massages and spa treatments, a sauna and steam room, and a full-service salon. A hallway leads to a variety of tranquil spaces. Hibiscus Spa hosts a relaxation room. A treatment room is dimly lit for massages.

Guests will find a yoga room inside Hibiscus Spa. The Westin offers 20 meeting rooms. Many of the ballroom-style meeting rooms have air walls that can be removed for larger groups. The Rosewood is a board-room style meeting room.

The Business Center offers FedEx and UPS services. The Business Center offers a public-use computer kiosk with a printer. (There are also computers and printers for guests in the lobby.) Essentials is a convenience store with souvenirs, snacks and other items at the Westin Las Vegas. Guests can convene in a lounge area by the main entrance.
